FAQ’s

How long does it take to learn how to swim?
There is no given time frame as all people, whether child or adult, learn at different rates. If a person is afraid of water, especially after a near drowning incident, then it does take a considerable amount of time to overcome the fear before being able to swim. A person that is very comfortable with the idea of swimming and has a natural “feel” for it, can learn within a few weeks.
How often should I swim?

Frequency and consistency play a vital role in how fast you’ll learn anything. The more you do, the faster you learn and the better you get. We recommend at least 2-3 times a week for Learn-to-Swim and Stroke Correction. A minimum of 3 sessions per week is advised for Squad training.
People that do fewer lessons are advised to practice outside of their lessons.

What equipment do I need?
A costume, towel, swimming cap and goggles.
For Squad training – paddles, pull buoy and flippers.
Do you sell swimming equipment?
Yes, we sell the following equipment;
Team Terra swimming caps
Junior and Senior goggles
Paddles S,M,L
Junior and Senior pull buoys
Flippers up to size 13 (UK)
Costumes
